Discussion: Fitness Program Considerations
Evidence shows that physical activity is essential for attaining the highest quality of life throughout the life span. Physical activity benefits people of both sexes all ages and a variety of medical conditions. Recommendations for physical activity need to address an individuals specific needs and situation including age safety and any special considerations. Strategies for improving fitness need to be appropriate for different groups to ensure a safe and effective fitness program. Fitness professionals must be prepared and willing to work with individuals with a variety of medical conditions.

Posta brief description of special fitness program considerations for the population you were assigned. Describe two fitness recommendations you might make for that population and explain why. Justify your recommendations using the Learning Resources and current literature. Contrast these recommendations to fitness recommendations for a healthy adult.
